Bars and Night Clubs

Lounge bars, nightclubs, cozy terraces... Nightlife in Monaco vibrates, pulsates and dances

In Monaco, the evenings sparkle and the nights are magical! Bars, lounge, clubs... Indoors or on the terrace, by the sea or under the stars: there is always a trendy place for an after-work meeting to sip a delicious cocktail, listen to live music and dance off to the sound of the best DJs. Because Monaco knows how to party

It's party time! After-work celebrations, live music, DJ & club ambiance to dance the night away: for a flashy party, La Rascasse never misses an opportunity! Another place of Monegasque nightlife that no one can avoid is the legendary Jimmy'z Monte-Carlo and its ElectroChic by Bob Sinclar, Martin Solveig, Mark Ronson, Fatboy Slim ...

So trendy ... Terrace by the sea, homey atmosphere and billiards - the Blue Gin offers cocktails, champagne, whiskeys and liquors to the best DJ sound. A little bonus: the finger food menu by Marcel Ravin. La Vigie comes up with house-style cocktails, champagne and rum. And how about a cigar or hookah to sweeten up the party to the DJ's live set? Finally, the Buddha Bar Monte-Carlo charms with its subdued musical atmosphere.

Chic & Chill... The absolutely legendary Bar Américain reveals its jazzy and relaxed ambiance, seducing not only with its live music program but also with its incredible house-style cocktails. The Crystal Bar and its magnificent terrace, in turn, are the ideal place for a fine wine or an exceptional cigar.

Exciting nightlife in Monaco

A stay in Monaco would not be complete without experiencing the glamorous nightlife firsthand. In addition to luxury cars gliding through the streets and people in extravagant outfits, there are numerous restaurants, bars and clubs that cater to all night owls. With a little luck, you might even spot one of the many celebrities, such as U2 singer Bono or world-famous drummer Ringo Starr, who are permanent residents of Monaco. No matter what travelers like to spend their evenings doing - in Monaco, everyone gets their money's worth.

Le TWIGA

If you want to start the evening in grand style, visit Club Le TWIGA, located between the Grimaldi Forum and the Fairmont Hotel. The relatively new meeting place for hungry and entertainment-seeking night owls was created by well-known Italian sports and industry executive Flavio Briatore. Not only is the club considered particularly hip and chic, but it is also the only one that can be reached directly by boat. When visitors enter the glamorous facility for the first time, they are spoiled for choice: The "Crazy Fish" restaurant offers traditional Italian culinary delights, while "Twiga Sumosan" treats its guests to fancy Japanese sushi creations. Before visiting, one should not only reserve a table, but also check the TWIGA event calendar for the best entertainment options.

Le Casino de Monte Carlo

All those who are attracted to the nostalgic charm of old James Bond movies as well as the architecture of the Belle Epoque should not miss a visit to the "Casino de Monte Carlo". It is no coincidence that the magnificent casino is a byword for top-class entertainment and extravagant games of chance. Whether French Roulette or Black Jack - at the Casino de Monte Carlo you play in style. Poker fans who are familiar with the theoretical basics will also get their money's worth here. Under glittering Bohemian chandeliers, they can put their skills to the test. At the same time, you don't have to be a gaming nut to have fun at the casino: Lush decorations and gleaming marble are a feast for the eyes and invite you to linger. Numerous bars and restaurants, which are located in the same building, also convince with fine food and drinks.

Le Jimmy'z

Boris Becker or a member of the Princely House have often been spotted here. The upscale nightclub "Le Jimmy'z" has now achieved cult status in Monte Carlo and is especially worthwhile for visitors who do not want to spend an evening on their budget. But even if you only treat yourself to a drink here, you will experience a very special atmosphere alongside the music of world-famous DJs, which is often denied to the "normal public" elsewhere. For over 40 years, the club has been considered the headquarters of "hip nightlife". At the same time, newcomers have to be careful not to get lost on the huge premises. One half of the club is outdoors in a graceful Japanese garden. Those who like to shake a leg can really let off steam indoors, while stars and starlets have their sights set on the entire dance floor in the so-called "Boom Boom Room".

Monte Carlo Bar and Brasserie de Monaco

Of course, Monaco is also more affordable. Travelers craving good beer and hearty fillers like fish'n'chips, pizza or a burger should pay a visit to the "Brasserie de Monaco." The bar with a spacious terrace, which is connected to the brewery of the same name, offers DJs the opportunity to show off their skills to visitors from all over the world at evening hours. By the way, the beers on offer are brewed according to Monegasque brewing tradition from the early 20th century. The "Monte Carlo Bar", which has not changed much since 1973, is also suitable for a classic bar visit. This is especially noticeable in the typically French decor. Although you don't get VIP treatment here like at "Le Jimmys" or "Le TWIGA," you do get hearty food and drinks at a low price.
